Update for Jennifer

All,
This is Jennifer’s husband. Thank you for your prayers. They are working. Jennifer had to spend 2 days in the hospital for hydration and observation because she couldn’t hold anything down. After the first 2 I.V. bags, she felt much better. They kept her on a clear liquid diet for the 1st day. She convinced the doctors to let her have solid food at the end of the 2nd day. This prompted a run to Cracker Barrel (for those of you not here in the south, this is a southern cooking type restaurant) for a take out order of eggs, grits, and biscuits. She was the envy of all the ladies on the hospital floor. She is back home now and is still feeling a little green around the gills but is much better and managing to hold down her food and water. We are hopeful she is done with the worst of it. The next few days will tell. If she has to go back to the hospital, her doctor told her that she would be getting the dreaded PICC line. This is a central line that would pump food to both Jennifer and the baby directly into a major artery. We would both like to see her avoid that if at all possible. She is 9 and a half weeks along and her nausea is usually gone by the 12th week. Wish her luck. Hopefully she will be back to her blogging self soon. I know she misses all of you and is thankful for your prayers. I thank you also. Please continue to pray for Jennifer and the baby.
