  1. Would love to try one of these! I got a (small) daily calends this year. I thought since I didn’t have one before I just needed a small one — but realizing I don’t have quite enough space!

  2. Wow, gorgeous planner! I don’t typically go for a daily one but this one I could definitely see myself doing. Jen, have you ever used The Catholic Daily Planner? If so, what are your thoughts on that one? I love that one because of the liturgical feasts and all things Catholic that it has.

    1. Rachael, the Catholic Planner is a beautiful planner! I used it for a couple of years, but that was several years ago. It is a weekly planner, I believe. In other words you see the entire week on a two page spread when you see the planner open in front of you. As opposed to a daily planner which has an entire day on one page. (I could be wrong, it’s been awhile since I looked at the planner.) The Planner is beautifully done and Michele Quigley is extremely attentive to details when she puts it together! It really comes down to the space you need!! Could you see yourself managing your time and home best with a day on a page (daily planner), a weekly overview so that you see your entire week in front of you when the planner is open (weekly planner), or….some even prefer a birds eye view and only need a monthly view (monthly planner). Hope that helps!!

      1. Thanks! That makes perfect sense. I’m going back and forth between the daily and the weekly. The weekly would be enough, I think, but only just enough, and I’m wondering if the daily might be a better fit for our family. With using the Simplicity Planner, then, do you just write in the liturgical feasts, etc. as they come up by week? I guess that’s one of the draws of the Catholic Daily Planner for me…the fact that all the Catholic info is already written in there for me.

        1. Exactly! I sit down at the beginning of the month and note liturgical days and observances. I actually prefer that anyway because it forces me to look at and consider the liturgical year as I plan out our month. I actually feel like I’m more intentional and aware when I go through the calendar and add Feasts and penitential days directly to my planner.

          1. Awesome! That makes perfect sense and I can see how writing it in yourself would help cement it into your mind better and make it, as you said, more intentional. Now, just have to decide whether the weekly or daily will serve my needs better.

  3. Thank you so much, Jen! I have been eyeing the SP because life has been so busy lately I’m starting to feel like my hourly just isn’t enough (but then I wonder where will I find the time to manage an additional planner! Lol). The SPs are so beautiful!

  4. Thanks for this opportunity! I heard you on Pam Barnhill’s Morning Basket podcast – it was so edifying the way that you naturally weaved in how Catholicism shapes your family life 🙂 Thank you for flying the flag of our beautiful faith and T/tradition!

  5. Have you ever used Corie Clark’s Purposeful Planner? If not, might you consider acquiring one and doing a review for us all? 😉 Your post has caused me to go on an intense search for the-perfect-planner-for-my-life and I happened to stumble upon that one and it looks really promising.
